Welcome to our family farm's website...We live on a 72 acre farm that was our family's original homestead, built just after the civil war by my great-grandfather. We have been raising pigs on our farms for many years and probably many generations. We are back in the hog business after about a 20 year vacation. For the past few years we have been raising Duroc and Hamp showpigs that are bred by some of the best boars in the nation. Our 1st gilts were purchased from PARRISH FARMS. Our 1st boar was sired by OX (of SHIPLEY FARMS) bred by SANTORO'S SWINE GENETICS. Our sows were his offspring and those PARRISH FARMS gilts... They were ai 'd by Major League, V8, Deep and Wide(SHAFFER'S GOLD RUSH), or they were out of HP Red Hawk(PARRISH FARMS), and bred to our boar.. He has produced some very large and well built litters for us. We also kept a couple of the RED HAWKxOX Gilts to ai ,..one of those HP REDHAWK SOWS produced our boar that placed at the OHIO STATE FAIR..We used him to breed some of our sows and gilts...We called him TANK... and he was out of V-8 and RED HAWK......Our 1st Hamp boar ,MF6 REALLY SWEET was purchased from SANTORO SWINE GENETICS....He was out of DAVID MARTIN'S, REALLY SWEET and MARLAND FARMS, HARRIET with HARD HIT on the dam's sire..we kept a couple of his last gilts to breed for crossbred showpigs.. Since then, we have ai'd to some really great boars, added some great bloodlines with winning genetics, Budda, Grand Champion Duroc at the 2008 Ohio State Fair, bred by Pepple Genetics from Pa.. Sweet, from Jerry Masters in Arkansas out of Sweet Tea x Leverage, a Mike Watson bred hamp boar from the NSR Winter Type Conference in Georgia, Buckmaster, a Huniker bred boar from Iowa shown at the Summer Type Confrence in Louisville and Massy..our Mass Attack boar from Ishler Genetics, shown at the Indiana State Fair.... We have added Gus from WPX the hamp out of Above all x Homegrown x Augusta Mike, THE HOMEKID out of Massy but he added many more winning genetics from his mothers bloodline.....then The Hammer..he is Buddas grandson and Mikes son....with Full blown as a great...Big Nut out of Grus Big Buck and COLAVITO....a little Crown royal and triple rock genetic and here we are....We have recently added Boomer from the Smith family with his great Lifetime x Light em up x Red Senation genetics....We have added Colavito..Aka Rocky's Son ..Little Rocky......Rocky 2...since we loss Rocky and Mike and Gus....And we have Gus's Grandson...Cowboy....Whos sire was Power Pop.....Reseve Champion Ohio State Fair 2014....bred by Kevin Wendt....Hampshire......and this summer...we also added Bun Bun.....Berkshire gilt...Jr Champion Michigan State Fair...and Reserve Open Champion....so u will soon see little Berkshires to add to the Duroc, Hamp Show.....We have been selling winning pigs across the nation...Folks, we are small but we have VERY GOOD PIGS...... They have some of the best genetics in the nation....Our prices are small like our size and you will get your money's worth and then some....
